Helping you declutter to live better

Hi, I’m Steph!

I’m a Certified KonMari Consultant and professional organizer in Columbus, OH, and I’m here to help you go from spinning your wheels to getting shit done by decluttering your life.

I’ve been organizing my friends and family since I was a kid, but I leveled up in 2017 when I started helping clients turn analysis paralysis into action.

Since then, I’ve guided more 1400 hours with clients, taken 130+ hours of organizing classes, and achieved my KonMari certification - so that I can help you declutter your life the simplest, fastest way possible.

I’ve been where you are. For years, I struggled with anxiety and depression, hoping every day would be “the day I’m going to figure things out.” I had a stable life working as a library assistant and virtual assistant, living in my first one-bedroom apartment, spending time with people I loved, and watching my way through all 7 seasons of Charmed. But I still felt like something MAJOR was missing in my life. Something consistently “off.”

Even though my life and my home were “organized,” so much of my stuff was actually clutter, clogging                       up my mental bandwidth and sapping my time and energy.

Things started to shift for me when I did my KonMari tidying festival. Over the course of two weeks, I decluttered 70% of my things and felt lighter and happier for the first time in a long time.

It was the spark that helped me figure out my:

  • career path – the business you see me running now, 7 years later

  • relationships – having productive conversations with my loved ones and getting on the same page

  • interests - trying things BY MYSELF that I never had the courage to do before

  • preferences – deciding instead of being completely overwhelmed by the very thought of trying to make decisions

I went from an indecisive mess who went through the same notebooks full of lists to someone who owns her own business and has a home and life she loves. I went from compulsive planning to consistent doing.

To get the big wins, you have to be willing to let go of the little things that are holding you back. I can show you how.

WHAT I DO

During a series of one-on-one sessions, I’ll guide you through decluttering and organizing your home using the KonMari Method®, a 5-step tidying technique that can change your life with no clutter rebound.

HOW I DO IT

It’s simple: we go through your belongings category by category, keep the things that bring joy to your life, and let go of the ones that don’t support your goals.

Here’s the plan:

  1. Talk about your goals and what you want from tidying your home.

  2. Work through the 5 categories of the KonMari Method® together so you have someone there to encourage and support you every step of the way – especially when things get tough.

  3. Celebrate the end of your tidying festival and results like:

    • More time - because picking an outfit, cleaning, and everything else in your home is simpler than it’s ever been

    • Finding what you want, when you want it

    • Clear surfaces and floors

    • Freedom to do more of what you love

    • Confidence to choose what that means

WHY I DO IT

I don’t care about containers.

I care about you.

Your life is the things you do every day AND the things you surround yourself with every day.

Your home is a mirror that reflects your life and what you believe about yourself.

What you have in your home can lead you towards the hiking trip you’ve been researching for months, picking up the violin again, and writing in that special journal you’ve been saving for your “best thoughts.”

OR

Your stuff can create more chores and anxiety, make you lose time looking for things you KNOW you have… somewhere… and sap your energy so all you want to do is watch more Great British Baking Show in your oldest pair of pjs.

I know what it’s like to have the CNN ticker of to-do items constantly running in the background. You sign in to work, take the dog for walks, try to use your slow-cooker, make time for your partner… and at the end of the day, you feel like you haven’t accomplished anything. At least, not for yourself.

I believe in better things for you because I've done it for myself. And I’ve helped my clients do it too.

I’ve helped clients:

  • sort through 30 years’ worth of paperwork

  • use their sewing machine for the first time in 4 years

  • park their car in the garage

  • reclaim closets, bedrooms, basements, cabinets, cupboards, the works

  • feel like they can breathe in their home again

  • have people over without feeling anxious

  • start looking for things that bring them joy

I’m not saying that you’ll never have to put the dog toys away or wipe down the counters.

I AM saying that when you tidy up once and for all, you never have to go through the hassle of starting at square one again and again… and again.

I can help you clear the way for your dreams, big and small.

I do this work for you and your journey so you can have someone there with you to help you overcome the hard stuff and sail through the easy stuff.

A home you love is the start of a life you love.

Are you ready for a change?
